Our story
Flowers, family, and a new beginning.
Thistle & Thorn is more than a floral studio. It is a place where family memories and the hope of growing something beautiful meet.
Behind the name
A thistle and a rose.
The thistle honours Sara’s late father, who never liked seeing thistles growing around the farm. The thorn speaks to her late mother, whose favourite flower was the rose.
Those small details live on in the name. The farm and flowers carry a meaning that goes well beyond a business.
The journey
A mum, her son Rocco, a farm, and the joy of building something from the ground up.
Growing forward
One season at a time.
Sara is building the flower farm alongside her floristry work, growing cut flowers and developing Thistle & Thorn Seeds. The garden is a place for learning, making and sharing what comes next.
